☆TRACK IV: COME TOO FAR
☆COME TOO FAR
► ALSO, DO YOUR AC!
The first part of Come Too Far is less of an event and more of a series of happenings. Starting late Halloween night, member of both labels will start being ordered back to HQ. If you've already planned your character as doing something Halloween night, that's fine - just know, they'll be getting called back/dragged back by their managers before the night is over, because something is afoot.☆WHAT WE AREOf course, whatever is afoot, no one is giving you answers. Neither Blanche nor Santiago are available for comment, and your managers don't have answer for you easy. From the mutterings of the guards and other staff though, you may get the sense that both CEO left abruptly for something very urgent. Even they don't appear to know what, though.
Members of both labels will not be allowed to leave the HQ until the 5th is over. All press events and performances are cancelled - and there were quite a number of them. Fans are confused and upset, and you honestly don't have answers for them...though you may get some cryptic answers of your own.
Starting Halloween night, memory regains are becoming more common. The exact number you regain are up to you, but over the course of November you will be allowed to regain a minimum of 2 memories up to a maximum of 8. They should be a mix of small thing and big things, and the content can be of your choice - just remember, this is still only month two, so your character shouldn't get back their whole identity all at once. Have fun, though, and work the times they come back into your personal narrative.
Characters are going to start getting the sense that something is wrong, but they'll need to make a choice: to pursue these memories to their logical conclusions, or to try to avoid them in favor of making the best of their career. It will become harder and harder to do both.
The ability to purchase a physical or power regain will come shortly after the fifth, for both Contraband and Fame.☆WHAT WE NEEDThough the regain of memories are something you are free to handle on your own, there are a couple things we need from you as of this event:
► AN EMOTIONAL AFFINITY: Much like what was used in the Streets Are Empty, only now you get to pick! You don't have to tell us in this post, just head to that link and put your character's name in the right column for the affinity you want. Pick for whatever concept is the most symbolically relevant to your character's true self. The first memory their regain from this should be related to that affinity, but after that the memories can be anything you want. This can be the same as the affinity you already had or different.
► BE A TATTLETALE: Has your character been acting up, recently? Have they been trying to break the rules or disobeying a lot of orders from their managers? Have they been talking publicly about weird memories they shouldn't have? If your character has been doing anything that implies they are having memory regains or that they dislike their label, let us know here on this post. (This doesn't count behaviour that they've been programmed to have, like fighting cops or being rude.) Also let us know how and where they are showing these signs - there are eyes watching frequently, but not always. Also let us know if they are going to act out in the next few days.
As always, if there are any questions, ask them here!
weeps with joy
The room is maybe slightly intimidating, but he's still under the impression that everyone here is on his side. They aren't the bad guys. There's no reason to be afraid here.
When he sees Lesedi, the hope and feeling of being important will only grow. He's felt helpless re: the hazing thing, but now he feels like he's got a chance to fix things since he's got the ear of someone so important. And he's cooperating or at least sees himself as being cooperative, because she's not asking/telling him the right things to lead him to believe he needs to be talking about his dreams. (Dreams are dreams, sure they're weird but they come from inside you, not outside!) People getting kidnapped out of their beds and traumatized seems majorly more like corruption to him.
Things he actually brings up: There is corruption, she's totally right! Because people came into their HOME and took his friends from their beds! They put his friends in danger, made them think they were going to die! "We gotta do something!" is definitely used verbatim. He wants to work with Lesedi to put a stop to this, even gives her the name of who he knows is involved: "Predator." He doesn't, however, mention the EP people are working on, because it's not against any rules as far as he knows and it's more for everyone's sense of closure than for actually getting revenge. (He may not actually know what the word closure means, but he's knows enough about people and their emotions to know what it is without having to put a name to it.)

She says that she is aware there was an incident, and that it's been dealt with - and, importantly, that it's not going to happen again. She'll add, though, that it isn't the situation she's inquiring about, and if he's experience anything else strange or otherworldly. Say...hauntings. You know, stuff like that.
no subject
Her prompting about "hauntings" gets him to thinking and considering. He'll willingly tell her he thought he heard there was some weird stuff going on at the Gala about a month ago, like people were seeing things and feeling things that were familiar but not. He doesn't really describe it very well, and he doesn't offer up the fact that he and a band mate also experienced this or what their personal experiences were. That feels too personal, like not something he should share without permission. (From Yosuke for his, but who would he ask permission to share for his own? He doesn't know, but it still somehow feels like breaking someone's trust, or a promise, to divulge.)
Since Sora feels like this is just a conversation rather than an interrogation, that they're working together, he casually asks her if she knows why that happened and how it could be caused by an outside force. She said hauntings. As in ghosts? Does she think some ghosts are targeting musicians on purpose? He also looks sort of bewildered as he asks this, like. Why would they?

It's at this point that she'll ask him about the subject matter of the picture he drew. The one of Riku and Kari that he carries everywhere. She knows about it.
no subject
He's surprised when she brings up the picture. He'll ask how she knew about it, though he won't fully be expecting an answer at this point. Not since she dodged the other questions. Yet still curiosity
killed the catruns rampant, and he'll ask her too if she thinks it's important, like if she thinks it has something to do with the "haunting" stuff she's talking about, and how? Are they ghosts?no subject

So he'll tell her he had a dream that he was on a beach or island or something with these two people and he felt like they were kind of important, except as far as he can remember he's never met them.
He also looks really sad as he tells her this, and is quickly getting sadder. Because now he thinks they're ghosts, which means they're dead. He'll outright ask her if they've died, in the back of his mind thinking about how the girl featured in Yosuke's weird experience was dead.

The compulsion to agree is strong.

All he knows though is that Yosuke had a weird experience like his at the Gala. There was a girl named Saki Konishi. Yosuke thinks she's dead. He was in a school or something.

You can't seem to say no.
You're lead down hallways, and to an unfamiliar elevator, that takes you some place strange. You only ever see the start of it - something that looks like an air lock in a spaceship, almost, with glowing indicators and 3D light screens. The guards tell you that you are going to enter processing, and it seems to trigger something in your mind that makes everything shut down. What you can remember from after comes in flashes of imagery you hardly understand, like a movie you watched as a child.
You remember moments of being held inside whirling and shifting machines, metal clasped tight around your head, your body naked and exposed. You think you remember pain. A pressure inside your head, your heart, that wouldn't subside - one that strained you until you felt like you would break. You remember feeling like someone else, somewhere else, in fragments and pieces.
And then...
You remember waking, in your room, these images becoming dull and soft. It's over now, something tells you, and you will not speak of this again. It's unecessary, isn't it? You've been reborn.
Use the gift wisely.
