Is it possible to more or less specifically rat out the ghosts and what they want to the NPCs? Would there be any sort of consequence for that?

Yeah that's totally possible! And no consequences for your character. It may affect things on the Ghost Quest side, but if Squalo does this then he'd really just get huge brownie points for it.

He'll probably share whatever requests he hears in detail, so if anyone else wants him to have an indirect part in their being caught I... guess that's an option. Whoops.
