This is just the OOC companion to the EVENT POST over yonder. Come here for OOC discussion! I will not reiterate the plot points as they are all explained over there, but you can ask your questions and let me know if your are going to try to jump the NPCs here!

So will people who have a little extra sense in reading emotions/thoughts/desires pick anything up from the ghosts?

A few things!

I wasn't sure how many memories characters were supposed to regain this month. Was that stated anywhere?

Second, with regards to the hauntings for Duty characters have any distinct presence or any emotional sense to them or are they complete phantoms? If there is a presence that Rei's psychic sense could pick up on she'd probably try and follow it.

Third, would regains requested this month be available? I've got a couple of ideas for things I'd like to do with this but I'm still waiting on approval for them.

Is it alright if we get an idea of what kind of consequences will come out of Ghost Quest? Is it different depending on which label the characters belong to?

What are the ghost going to be asking of the characters? Is it going to be something major like opening the blast doors or something small and mundane like eating a sandwich?

Some characters are susceptible to "visions" or "feeling like someone else." Can you be a little more specific about what these visions may be of, and who this 'someone else' might feel like?

I had some questions as to the happenings. Would it be possible to do EVP - Electronic Voice Phenomenon style haunting. You know, where voices/sounds are heard through the static of the radio? I've got this idea of Xanxus' personal Leitmotif following him around and also small snippets of conversations he's had in the past playing back in the static. Would this be something that would be okay to do?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but the threads to request hauntings are just in case you want the mods to make up a haunting scenario for you, right? That is, if you know what kind of spoooky things you want the ghosts to be doing, you can just make your own thread. Correct?

Also: if a couple of dumb kids use a Ouija board to try to communicate with the ghosts, will they get any specific words/messages? Or are we free to make up some cryptic bullshit?

Is it possible to more or less specifically rat out the ghosts and what they want to the NPCs? Would there be any sort of consequence for that?

Are you going to jump an NPC? Are you letting us know that your character is throwing a fit? It goes here.

Luce certainly won't be jumping Anasi, but she will try to get her attention or talk with her a bit more privately away from the others, even if only for a minute whether or not it's her or someone else being interrogated.

Her main line of inquiry will be checking in on Anasi, but she'll definitely make a go at asking just what's going on here, too.

Ivan's going to try to avoid Juno as much as he can. Even if he's questioning ghosts (and throwing salt) again, he doesn't trust Juno like he did before after his possession.

There has been a lapse in his web searches for ghosts, spirits, and curses. (Though, he may start those again after all of this.) There has been an increase in his web searches for shapeshifting, schools, large statues, Stern Bild, heroes, stars, and... Edward in relationship to crimes. Angel would know that Ivan has been spending a lot of time in his room alone ever since he was "kidnapped" by Gold and Silver. He's been practicing controlling his shapeshifting there.

Idk how property damage will be handled. but the EVP freaked Xanxus out and he threw and possibly broke a company radio. He should be able to buy a new one for them, but i thought you'd like to know in case there's anything I need to be aware of for that.

as for NPCs... I'm going to be playing it as, if Predator enters a room, Xanxus will try hard to nope out of the room somehow. he doesn't want to tangle with them this round. he has a promise to keep with Luci.

Sariel's going to lose a good deal of his composure, once things start to really rock and roll, so he might need someone to talk him down.

Jamie's not going to jump Predator or otherwise get physical with them, but he may get a little mouthy and be initially reluctant to cooperate with them. Is that the sort of thing that would incite violence, or just really overt attempts at picking a fight with them?

ETA - Or will the trust and optimism he feels due to his Hope alignment extend to NPCs as well as player characters and make him more willing to tell Predator what they want to know?
