☆THE STREETS ARE EMPTY: SIGN UP
☆THE STREETS ARE EMPTYThank you, Virgo players, for being so patient in waiting. However, your time has come - meaning here is the official sign up for Virgo's The Streets Are Empty event!
The premise starts somewhere a lot more down to earth than Pride's hazing, at least at first. Juno, Edward Blanche's close personal assistant, will come to you with something that is absolutely an order and not even slightly a request: you are to come down to the basement levels of the residential tower with her and aid her in what should be a very simple task, that you will speak of to no one. While all logic may suggest that this is weird and out of place, the programming latent in each character's mind will compel them to agree.
This event is opt in - any one who doesn't want to participate will be fortunate enough to be missed by Juno's initial sweep. She doesn't have the time to hunt everyone down after all. She does seem like she's in a bit of a hurry.
The collected Virgo members will be taken down into the spooky basement, and be split into groups that do not actually correspond with their usual bands. Each group will be given a set of strangely written sheet music that they will be instructed to learn and perform in a limited period of time...there's more to it than that, but the rest will be explained when the event is posted.
For now, there is some probably tangential information I need from each sign up:
Name:
Character:
Aspect: In the game's opening log, for your memory regain did you choose Love, Duty, Passion, or Hope? If for some reason you didn't end up threading it, pick one now.
Describe: Describe the memory they regained, as viscerally as you can, in terms of feelings and sensations. How would it appear to a third party with no context for it? You don't have to write it as a narrative, just give a small paragraph explaining it.
Essence: If you were to describe your character's core essence as a person in as few words as possible, what would it be? Thing in terms of "vibrant, loving, happy" or "tormented, dark, brooding." Iconic descriptors that are easy for others to understand.
This event is planned to go up on Wednesday. Believe it or not, this information is actually necessary for what's going to go down. If you have any questions, as them below!
JOY IS THE LATEST EVER I hope this is okay
Character: Plourr Ilo/Lora Estilo
Aspect: Duty
Describe: You're standing in a sunny field that is not on Earth, inhaling a mixture of the two different worlds you belong to: the humid rich air of home, and the ozone-y mechanical tints that go with the snubfighters taking off in formation and dwindling away. It's so bittersweet.
Above banners flap and crack in the breeze; a double serpent-crest and a red starbird. You are dressed well and surrounded by people in similar livery. They watch you. You have to watch them, both your allies and your enemies. You are the center, you are the focal point, while you fulfill the dreams of some of them you destroy those of many others. There's so much to do, and even though you want to be flying away with your friends, as much as you already miss that, this is right, and this is proper.
One of the pilots had traded words with you as he was climbing into the cockpit, and you recall his voice, high, with an accent that's slightly Scottish, slightly Irish, not quite either. You'll always be welcome, Plourr. You've saved your world. When you're ready, come back and save the rest of us.
Essence: Gruff, blunt, perfectionist, warlike, proud, confident, responsible, pragmatic, loyal.
