☆RESCUER TEST DRIVE: DIGITAL LOVE
☆WELCOME RESCUERS
Welcome to Interstellar's first ever RESCUER TDM! A part of the Interstellar plot that has just opened up, this covers the entrance of those recruited by the lone space pilot Shep to join him on a mission to the planet Terra to rescue those held captive by Pride Records and Virgo Entertainment. Rescuers will not suffer any memory loss and will enter the game as they are, in contrast to the memory loss/force humanization of the musician half. Powers will be nerfed to a certain degree upon entering the game fully, but during recruitment they will remain at full power.☆A DREAM ABOUT YOUThese prompts are designed to be game canon, for both rescuers and musicians both new and already in game. For those in game, they will start occurring around New Years in the form of dreams. The dreams will be very clear while happening, but after waking, they will swiftly fade away into something barely remembered. For rescuers, these dreams will occur very shortly before they are approached by Shep or other already recruited rebels to join the rescue squad and go save the people being held captive in Vista City. Rescuers will remember these dreams as clearly as something that actually happened in real life.
Both of these prompts take place in the dreamscape, ostensibly, and the surrounding will appear as whatever fits those taking part in a scene. It can shift and change as a thread goes along, as well, and may resemble things from a captive's home, the game setting, or anything else appropriate.
►A1) FOR THE CAPTURED: The kidnapped musicians of Vista City will dream of being themselves - in a way more true than they have been for months now. They'll dream of themselves as they're meant to be, in physical form and manner of dress, and their personality will align more easily with their true nature, even as the confusing influences of their programming nag at their mind. It could alarm them, or it could feel somehow natural. Either way, their memories will still be gone, except for what they've recovered - but they feel somehow much closer to reach, like they may break through if only given the chance to dig just about deeper. They may dream of home, they may dream of Vista, but either way...when the morning comes, their memories of this experience will be all but wiped away. Including the memories of the strangers that promised that they would find them and take them home.
►A2) FOR THE RESCUERS: The dream is the first sign of something being wrong. You'll find yourself somewhere else - either a scene from your home, or someone else's, or an alien world you've never seen. In this dream, you'll find a person. Perhaps it's someone you recognize, someone you love dearly, but that doesn't remember you. Maybe it's a stranger, lost, confused, and desperate for help. Either way, you find yourself reaching out to them - but outside of this dream, you are helpless to save them. The dream will fade but stay with you in your memory, and may be a key component in you choosing to believe and join the other rescuers when they come to your door. Something has been taken, and you will take it back.☆MAKE THESE DREAMS COME TRUEThese prompts are design to be kept as game canon after acceptance, and can be used as the official story of how your character entered the game. Importantly, the technology used to enter your timeline causes massive time distortions, which means that the outcome of this scenario will stagger and replay itself multiple times before settling on an outcome. This means that after the fact, you character may remember being encountered multiple ways, or going in more than one direction, before the timeline settled on a final path.
►B1) JUST SAY YES: Soon after these dreams, rescuers will find themselves in a strange situation. Time will abruptly stop for every part of the world except for them, and fade into a ghostly vision of its former self - just in time for them to be approached by some mysterious strangers. Whether your rescuer chooses to run, fight, or talk, eventually they'll be told the truth - people of the multiverse have been captured and taken to a universe far away to be harvested for their souls...in the form of forcing them to becoming rock stars. You heard it here first, folks.
The people recruiting you will mostly be other player rescuers that have already been recruited (regardless of whether or not that's been threaded out - you can assume your guy got recruited by someone if you want to recruit OTHER people.) The pilot and owner of the space ship doing this appears to be a blue man named Shep. He's the guy that's apparently in charge of this whole thing, but he's so busy with the dimension hopping that he's kind of hard to find and talk to. He presumably recruited some of the first members personally, but things have been sort of getting more complicated since then.
►B2) INTERSTELLAR DISCO: After you've agreed to come for whatever reason - to save you lover, friend, some guy, whatever - you're be taken upon the guitar shaped spaceship to wait out the tide of the temporal distortions picking you up has caused. It's a long journey back to Vista City, and you've got plenty of new comrades to get to know. This mission could take a while, so you better get comfy. You're in for the long haul now.
NOTE: If you want to see the interior of the spaceship (or if you want to see Shep dance) watch the music video posted up top. It's going to be a fair bit bigger in Interstellar to accommodate the big crew, but the essence is there.☆HELPFUL INFO► Follow the mod plurk for updates:interstellar5555

Kise Ryouta | Kuroko no Basuke | A1 (Already in Game)
Kise Ryouta doesn't remember the name. He just remembers this gym that he's now in. It's... home. Obviously not home home, but where his heart is the happiest. Practicing on this court.
He feels a tear slide down his cheek and quickly brushes it away.
He looks around, the sense of rightness filling him. And all the memories from that other life, that life that isn't his come in. He doesn't have a lot. And only two are here. He remembers coming here after the match with Aomine. Crying, because he wasn't good enough. He remembers here. That blue eyed boy, and his passion. If only he could put a name to that boy.
He picks up a basketball. Its worn skin feels so right in his grasp. With a broad smile he begins to dribble the ball down the court. He stops just before the two point line, lines up, and shoots. The ball sinks through the net.
/sneaks in here
He doesn't remember coming here, he doesn't remember where this is or if he's ever seen it before... But he knows Ryouta's talked about playing basketball before, so that could be a reasonable explanation for him having this dream. Except it feels different than just a regular old dream.
no subject
"That was nothing! You should see some of the other stuff I can do!"
Unlike Sora, Ryouta doesn't really pick up on the oddity of the dream. He's a little confused, but once the basketball was in his hand he felt right at home.
no subject
He trails off slightly, scratching his cheek with a finger, before he grins again. "Hey. Wanna show me some of your moves?"
no subject
Kise started dribbling considering. He then shoots down the court. He starts with a double clutch. Slam dunks are impressive, but they don't score much in the way of points.
He came down from the basket and picked up the ball. He wanted to show Sora something truly impressive. He picked up the ball, closing his eyes, focusing.
When he opens his eyes they're glowing. He thinks of the green haired boy, channels him. He lifts the ball and shoots, it soars across the court and swishes through the net like a comet.
no subject
"Ryouta! You didn't tell me you had super powers!"
no subject
He gave Sora a grin. "I can't do it long," he said, blinking and his eyes returned back to their normal yellow hue. "I can do it for about seven minutes a day. I'm a mimic. I see a move I can do it so long it's my skill level or below. Perfect Copy let's me use any move, even those of the other Miracles."
no subject
[Why yes, he is standing right next to Kise already. Kuroko is actually a little relieved right now. He's been worried, but it seems like Kise isn't doing that badly.
And still playing basketball, despite being kidnapped and brainwashed and who knows what else. On some level he knows this is a dream, but that's fine. At least they have a chance to talk.]
no subject
What?! Wh-where'd you come from?!
[he steps back, wary, but once he gets a good look at the boy his defenses go down and he smiles]
It's you. I can finally see your face.
[this is the boy who had been his inspiration since October. Until now he had only vague details; shorter than him, pale, but those determined blue eyes have always been clear]
My muse.
no subject
[That response is automatic, but there's something comforting in the familiar interaction.
Which dissipates on the word 'muse.' Because that's a new one. Kuroko has long considered Kise a rival, and a friend, but he's fairly sure he's never been anyone's muse. That, combined with the comment about 'finally' seeing his face, is leading Kuroko to an unfortunate conclusion. But he'll ask before he assumes.]
You've seen my face many times before, Kise-kun. What do you mean by 'muse?'
no subject
I have? Well, yeah, sorta. I think about you a lot when I write lyrics. You inspired a few of our hits!
[He smiles and begins to sing]
No light, no light in your bright blue eyes
I never knew daylight could be so violent
A revelation in the light of day
You can't choose what stays and what fades away
That's what I mean when I say you're my muse.
[He frowns, because surely, a muse would know they're one, wouldn't they?]
no subject
You've written songs about me.
[Not a question, because Kise has already clearly demonstrated the answer. More a thoughtful observation.]
That's kind of embarrassing, Kise-kun.
[Most people would be flattered to have someone writing songs about them. Sorry, Kise.]
no subject
A few, yeah.
[The next comment hits him like physical blow almost]
What?! Why? You've inspired some of our hits! Most of them actually!
[Something about this exchange is very familiar so he has to ask]
You... you know Aomine, don't you?
[Another blue eyed boy he remembered. There were many faces that he recalled but couldn't put names to.]
And the term, Generation of Miracles? I keep thinking about that term over and over again. I know it applies to me, but I don't know why.
no subject
You remember Aomine-kun? And the Generation of Miracles?
[That's encouraging. The full explanation is a little awkward though, so let's try to simplify things. And maybe find out what else he remembers.]
Do you remember attending Teiko junior high? We were on the basketball team together.
no subject
I remember loosing to him. And just the words 'Generation of Miracles' and that I'm one of those miracles.
I... No, I don't remember any of that. I was homeschooled. I've never been on a team. I'm just a fan...
[but Teiko sounds like he should know it.]
I remember a tall purple guy you had an argument with, a green haired weird guy. And a guy who I guess was my captain. Shorter than me, ran on rage and kicked me sometimes. But I could tell he cared a lot about me.
And you. I remember facing off against you on the basketball court. That was the first memory I got back. You've haunted me ever since.
[he looks around, uneasy]
This is strange. It's like I'm remembering two different lives. One I have more memories of, and another that feels more real but I only have bits and pieces off.
no subject
The tall one is Murasakibara-kun. And the 'weird guy' is Midorima-kun. But it's not very nice of you to point out that he's weird, Kise-kun.
[It's certainly true, but not nice. There may be a very slight smile on Kuroko's face though. It's hard to tell.]
The other one is probably your team captain from Kaijo. That's where you go to high school.
[He walks over and picks up the basketball.]
You'll be alright, as long as you remember what's important to you.
[When he tosses Kise the ball there is definitely a smile on his face. There is a subtle edge of sadness in his eyes though.]
I am sorry I've been haunting you though.
no subject
He shakes his and catches the ball easily. His head hurts a bit, it's all very confusing. But he does catch the sadness in the other boy's eyes.]
Don't be. I don't mind.
[He clutches the ball to him]
I can tell you're really important to me. I just wish I could remember your name.
no subject
[He nods in the direction of the hoop.]
Would you like to play?
[He knows that this is only a dream and even if it wasn't he's no match for Kise anyway. But it might help Kise remember. And besides, is there ever a time when Kuroko doesn't want to play basketball with his friends?]
no subject
[The way it came out of his mouth was wrong.]
Kurokocchi.
[There. That was it. That was better. This boy got the same -cchi that everyone he respected got.]
Yes
[And with a grin, he began to dribble the ball down the court]
no subject
But more importantly, Kuroko takes a defensive stance and his expression turns serious. One on one is hardly his forte, and Kise is a stronger player besides, but that doesn't mean he won't give his absolute best.
He waits until Kise is almost to him, and at the last second, he lunges forward to try to steal the ball.]
no subject
He doesn't see Kuroko as he lunges forward to steal the ball. He stops as he looses the ball to Kuroko. Misdirection. He had forgotten.]
I forgot about that.
[He spins around intent on getting the ball back]
no subject
Do you remember this, Kise-kun?
[He turns as well, and shoots, using his palm to thrust the ball upward in that strange way he has. The Phantom shot is really Kuroko's best hope to score against Kise at all.]
no subject
He swats, but misses and the unmistakeable sound of the ball swishing through net greets his ears.
He grins. Closes his eyes.]
I remember.
[His eyes open, and they're glowing with Prefect Copy]
Let's go again.
Kind of abstracting because I'm bad at writing actiony stuff. Sorry. orz
Right.
[But there's very little he can do against the Perfect Copy all on his own. All of Kuroko's best moves and strategies involve team play. But he'll still put up the best fight he can. He never gives anything less than his best on the court.
It won't take long for Kise to dominate this match. Even so, Kuroko is still having fun. And it looks like Kise is definitely remembering more as they play.]
it's okay, I'm not great at writing basketball
Mostly, though, he remembers Kuroko, and what he means to him.
Teacher, friend, someone he wanted to be closer to, someone he once hurt, some who showed him to truly appreciate basketball.
But that's the past. They're friends again.]
Want to take a break, Kurokocchi?
[He did dominate their one on one, but it was fun, and he would never dream of not going full out against Kuroko, it would be disrespectful]
