☆WELCOME TO INTERSTELLAR
And welcome to our first TDM! We've got two types of prompts to use this time around: the first takes place while your character is in the process of being captured, and the second is during their first brainwashed rockstar tour. The former is designed to be considered 100% game canon if you make it in officially, while the later is more speculative and will only work if you get lucky during label and band selection.

☆THE TALENT SEARCH
These prompts are design to be kept as game canon after acceptance, and can be used as the official story of how your character was captured. Importantly, the kidnappers entering your timeline causes massive time distortions, which means that the outcome of this scenario will stagger and replay itself multiple times before settling on an outcome. This means that after the fact, you character may remember being captured multiple ways, or going in more than one direction, before the timeline settled on a final path. Or at least, they'll remember this until their memories are wiped shortly afterwards, but that's okay! That's what memory regains are for. Read this page for more specifics on this situation. Any powers the characters have will be weakened and prone to malfunction to the point of uselessness.

►A1) THE SEARCH: It always starts out this way, doesn't it? At some point in your life, you were just doing your thing, wherever you call home. Then, all at once, it's like you've been torn from your dimension by the roots. Time and space displace, and it's like you've been shifted one layer of reality to the left - like some kind of subspace where you can see your reality through it, like a rainbow surrealist image of your home. Even if you can see this ghost image of where you were, you can't interact with it meaningfully. Any friends or family are somewhere else. As you begin to wander, without any other options, you'll find that the scenery gradually shifts to ghost images of other places, other worlds. If you wander long enough, you'll even find other people, lost just like you are. But you probably won't have much time - you've been brought here for a reason, after all.

►A2) THE HUNT: It could happen almost immediately, or it could happen hours later - but, at some point, your dimensional kidnappers start to do their sweep. Space Men in black body suits and gas masks pursue you on foot and in small spaceships, trying to sweep you and the other displaced up like fish in a net. Their guns contain a weird pink gas that will knock out most with only a single breath - and for those more enduring, they have the heavy artillery, like electrical nets and guns. The fallen will be sealed up into stasis pods for transport and loaded onto the ships, which seem like the only way to get out of this place by choice. This is where it ends, but are you going to put up a fight?

☆THE MAGIC TOUR BUS
By default, these prompt aren't considered canon, but if after you are accepted and sorted they can be tweaked into working for you, it'll be totally okay to keep them as a part of your rockstar's personal history. They take place after being kidnapped and brainwashed, on your character's first tour under their new label. As it turns out, it seems like brainwashing aliens isn't the only thing the abductees have to worry about.

►B1) PLAY IT STRAIGHT: It's just another day on the tour bus, in between long stretches of highway. How do you fill your time? Do you practice your instrument, or do you take full advantage of the open bar? Do you sulk and try go to bed early? Do you yell at your bandmates for ruining the toilet? Do you troll people on Twitter? Tours being what they are, everyone is probably at least a little bit tired or cranky. Just don't do anything that will get the Manager on your ass, because that's always more trouble than it's worth.

►B2) THAT'S NORMAL: The Managers aren't here, as far as you can tell, leaving you in a moment of relative relaxation. Something about those guys just make you uneasy, and they're always shoving you around and making you do things you don't really want to. However, these moments of peace don't last long, because it stars to become increasingly apparent that your tour bus might be...haunted? Whether its the bus turning on without a driver and without a key, wine glasses falling off tables, or guitar static sounding like frantic whispering, things are starting to get weird. Yet, at the same time, something in your subconscious is strongly suggesting that you should ignore it, and that everything is normal and fine...

►B3) THEN WHO WAS GUITAR?: These weird experiences eventually culminate in a kind of phantom music bleeding in from the air around you. The source is impossible to discern but it's somehow...familiar? Like something that played at an important moment in your life, even if the event itself just won't come to mind. What's weirder, is that everyone seems to hear something different. It gets to you in a way that your programming doesn't like - but how do you react? Reluctantly take it in, or throw a fit until it stops?

[ Not sagging at ALL but an excuse to poke is always good. Which she does, reaching out to poke one of his pecs. ]

[What else can a man do but shift his arm back, flex the muscle in question, and encourage her?]

Ain't gonna find any more sag here than I would on you, babe.

[ Oooh, flexing. Even better! The poke becomes a fond pat. Who's a good bit of eye candy? Who? You are! ]

Man it's not fair you get away with walking around shirtless but I have to wear bandeau at least.

[To be fair, he often thinks the same of her. 'Specially when she bends over to rummage in the fridge.]

It IS a shame. Tell ya what -- can't speak for anyone else, but when it's just you and me back here, you don't wear anything you don't want to.

[That cheerful leer makes it obvious he knows juuuust what he's suggesting.]

Oh really? You are such a friend, J. Always thinking of others. [ She snorts a laugh, mock swooning enough to lean against his side. ]

[...Damn good feeling, that. She's all soft skin and hard muscle underneath. They're more intense than usual tonight... again, not complaining about any of it. Hell, if he'd known this would happen he'd find more excuses to literally kick her ass.]

Hey, what's a good band without a little scandal? Besides tearing up the talk circuit, anyway.

[ They don't make 'em like Ryoko all that often, which is great for her marketability. She can be hard, she can be soft, but most often she's raw and rough- playing pretty or playing nice never really appeals to her. Jecht gets it better than most. ]

I haven't raised a scandal in awhile- I'm practically due.

[Same way he is. Whatever his inner thoughts and feelings might be -- and they're a lot more complicated than he lets on -- they all come out either playful or gruff, arrogant or cocky. Sure, he can be nice, even sweet, if someone inspires him to be. Usually takes being innocent or childlike or just naive.]

[Ryoko ain't none of that. And Jecht makes a show of looking down at what she's got.]

Well, you sure came equipped for one.

I'm equipped for all kinds of scandals, baby. [ She loops an arm around his waist with a salacious wink, earlier irritation about the sake long forgotten. ]

[What sake?]

[He drops an arm around her shoulders in return -- it's a weird contrast, his rough, scarred, muscled arm over her strong but definitely feminine body. He never really stops noticing that even in their more physically affectionate moments.]

So then it's the lady's choice, what scandal she wants to cause.

[ Much as she loves a party and a good brawl, Ryoko can't shake she's meant for more than kicking ass on the stage or behind a bar. Fighting makes the most sense to her but- why?

Maybe it's her anger issues. Maybe it's inherent greed. Maybe it's one of the few ways she can feel anything.

Wow. Maudlin while sober. Time to change the subject.

She leans up on her toes to bite at the underside of J'a jaw. No sweet and nuzzling thing is she. ]

All of them.

[Welp.]

[S'funny. Jecht had thought there'd be more warning when the two of them came up on that line, more time to think about whether to cross it or not. Didn't know if he'd have made the choice. Now here they are way past that line before he even saw it, and the choice is pretty much made for him.]

[He ain't complainin'.]

Hope ya don't mean all at once, there's only two of us. Gonna have to take 'em in order.

[Well, he sure hadn't bet when he was kicking her ass that he'd be grabbing it a few minutes later. But grab it he does, putting those muscles of his to use to haul her up for a kiss that says a lot more about how long ago he noticed that she's a damn hot woman than he could ever put into words.]

[ It's one thing to tease- and she does often. Teasing's fun, it's harmless, it's easy. Actually going through with anything? Takes at least some level of trust.

Or a distinct lack of fucks.

With J it's more the former than the latter seeing as she's kind of wanted to climb him like a mountain and ride him like a Harley for forever and a day. He lifts and she hauls herself right up, arms looping around his neck to hold herself in place as she kisses back, none too gentle. ]

[Well damn, Ryoko, why didn't you just say that back when they started touring?]

[...Okay, well, it actually wouldn't have accomplished anything, 'cuz really? In this line of work, hot girls are a dime a dozen, and he wouldn't have much trouble getting his pick if he really wanted to. Comes with the shirtlessness. But Ryoko? He likes her. Ain't just physical.]

[...but it's gotta be some physical, though. Girl demands it. So he turns to shove her up against the side of the bus, forceful enough to rock it a little. Give 'em some scandal.]

[ Cuz too busy having fun being a rockstar? Sex came out of boredom for her more often than not. a good fight is far more interesting- but when you can mix the two?

He shoves her up against the side and she pulls out of the kiss to cackle with glee. ]

Aw man I knew you'd be fun.

[ Like there was ever any other option. ]

Give the girl what she wants, that's my motto.

[Speaking's an effort, he's gotta push the air past the tightness in his throat. Let's see if she can laugh so easily when he sinks his teeth into her neck.]

[A few bruises in that area ought to be a good start on another scandal for her, right?]
