"If it were something like that, people would just start having nightmares." Kirby replied, still staring thoughtfully at the fountain. "That's what happened when Nightmare poisoned it that one time." And nothing about the fountain seemed off to Kirby either. It had to be something else.

"And the star rod is that thing up there at the top." Kirby pointed a stubby little arm at it. From there Agent 3 would be able to see a red and white striped wand with a yellow star at the end sticking straight up out of the crown of the fountain "It's the source of the fountain's power, poyo."

But then he blinked and looked back at her again when she mentioned the rainbow water. "Poyo? But the fountain always looks like this. What's so bad about water, poyo?"
