The long stretches were the worst. Nothing sapped your energy like being in a glorified cage, a relatively comfortable one all things considered but that didn't really change the fact. Even Nari-- Lila, usually the life of any party, the ever cheerful and flirtatious one, had all the fun sucked out of her. A week long trip to another major city where they would inevitably play for a stadium full of people. Then it would be fun, glorious, and life fulfilling as always but right now it just sucked.
And that was what lead her to Bucky. She actually had been trying to get some sleep but the noise made it impossible and somewhere along the way she'd picked up her own guitar and mindlessly strummed. And if one of their other mates hadn't decided to start hollering she might have been alright! But ultimately it was fine because when she stood in front of him with a very particular kind of grin it was for a specific, somewhat frequent reason:
"Wanna try out a new song?"
Sure, it might turn out to be nothing and become friendly jamming but that had to be better than just lying around and waiting for this literal hell of a ride to be over with!
