As much as he wishes he could remember for his own sake, right now he just wishes he could give her answers.

"I barely remember this place. I know Steven lived here, and I sort of did too." He glances back to the broken van. "But I don't remember it ever looking like this."

Now he crosses his arms, discomfort mounting. "Whatever happened, I get the feeling I was pretty useless here."
