☆WELCOME TO INTERSTELLAR!

We're glad you made it! Now that all you aspiring rescuers have been sandwiched into a space vessel for a few days, you're finally coming close to your destination: Planet Tera, home of Vista City, the home region of the record labels holding the musicians captive. There will be a log posted for general spaceship and landing interactions, but for now, it's time to say hello to your new crewmates and to do some plotting!



Use this post to say hi to everyone presently in game and to introduce your new characters! Existing musician players are totally welcome to hop in too to welcome both castmates and strangers alike! Have ideas for your first month in the game? Here's the place where you can start roughing some of that out.

Because, soon enough, the rescuers will find themselves dumped into Vista City with no more accommodations than the equipment they have on their backs. As much as they may want to focus on finding their objective, they might want to focus on surviving first.

Airi checking in! I'm the loser who also plays Kido (blindfoldcode) and Nia (loveconservative) and I am here with a rescuer I'm super pumped to play. Much like the other two, she also happens to be a young girl whose father tried to murder her and now (spoilers) she's possessed and that causes her eyes to be different.

I have a Type.

This is Anri Sonohara from Durarara!! She's very shy and quiet, and she struggles with making friends. Generally, she latches onto a few people and survives that way, but she's been picking up more friends lately. One of them happens to be Celty who she is here to save. And Anri is going to pull out all the stops to do it. Anri is possessed by the demon sword Saika, which gives her this one really cool power. If she cuts someone, she is able to control them.

Which obviously is going to require huge permissions from anyone involved SO if you want more information, please visit here and things can happen. She's going to try to use Saika and the current musicians to get information on Celty and the general goings on of this whole... thing. Volunteers???

OTHERWISE, plot with me. She's quiet, she's unassuming, she can literally kick your ass without blinking. CR needs to happen.

Yo! This is Stark, your friendly player of a certain Bird Nerd Koumei (dishevelment) bringing in....another Bird Nerd. This one decidedly less friendly, and a lot more violent.

This is Hibari, from that series with the weird Mafia stuff and the super powered babies, Katekyo Hitman Reborn. This man is rolling in from the middle of the Bad Future Timeline, because lol time travel shenanigans, and is already in a bad mood because his already tight schedule just got messed up. There's someone he needs to punch out because of this when he drags his Boss back home...but it's a matter of finding his Boss, and getting back home.

I will be drawing up an Opt-Out post for the folks who don't want to deal with Hibari, because he's very fight-happy and is notorious for lashing out with his tonfas if people are in his personal space for a little too long-- and trust me, it's all his personal space, and even a second is too long. While he's more tolerant now than when he was a teen, he still has trouble dealing with crowds.

Otherwise, feel free to hit me up for any of your plotting needs. He'll work alongside people for as long as their goals correlate with his, although he might be quite vocal about not 'being on the same side' while he's doing it. The man seriously has no manners.

Hey everyone. James here, again! You might know me as the player of both Artolo Apemis aka the Psiioniic (iitrebel) of Homestuck, and Luce from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Coincidentally, a canon she shares with the little shit I'm about to introduce to you right now.

This is Mammon. In case you couldn't tell from the fact that their name is taken from an actual literal demon of greed, one of the only things they care about is money. So why are they on such an altruistic mission like this? Because Lesedi Santiago stole both the people who supply this shit's paychecks.

And, frankly, that's just not acceptable.

Other things to know about Mammon: they only breech 5 ft with the help of slightly heeled boots. They have a very tiny frog companion named Fantasma who is actually magic (but not right now). They're in the mafia. They're actually a good decade or two older than they look, because they were actually cursed as a baby before time-space shenanigans happened on the way here.

They are also canonly nonbinary, but good luck on getting fandom to agree on any sort of pronouns for them. I, however, play Mammon with they/their pronouns. You're free to have your character ICly be unsure about this, but just so you know on an IC level!

As for plotting...

Mammon is an illusionist of impressive talent in their canon, and their powers are still intact (if reduced somewhat) on this mission. To keep themself sheltered and fed, they're going to be using their illusions to sneak into people's houses and use whatever's available.

They're not particularly interested in their fellow rescuers, but they do understand the value of having people backing them up. So if your character wants in on this deal, we can talk it over and maybe Mammon is interested in helping them out!

She's also all about love and friendships. She's come to rescue her dear friend Rei Hino!

But while she looks like an adorable puffball (and she is) make no mistake about her being able to fight. Usagi wields the most powerful crystal in the entire universe (though here in Interstellar it doesn't really do anything near what it can in canon). I can't wait to have her play with you and I'm so glad to be here!

In terms of plotting! Usagi is often underestimated because she is such a ray of sunshine who likes naps and kitty-cats, which can actually be used for an advantage, I suppose? Though she's not very GOOD at the whole, disguise thing. She tries though? She's very eager to help in any way she can.

Hey friends! Sarah here, player of Greg Universe (panspermia), now bringing in Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars from his self-titled segment of the podcast, The Thrilling Adventure Hour.

Sparks has seen a lot of weird shit in his time upholding the law on the plains of the red planet. He's been turned inside out, bodyswapped, averted a few wars and doomed timelines, tuned into a bloodthirsty Murderman and back, and exposed to music radiation. That is to say, almost nothing phases him at this point, and you can expect him to be wholly unimpressed and impatient with almost any weirdness you present. The man's here to do his job, because WOW this shit is so illegal.

feel free to toss ideas at me. i imagine she'll make quite an impact when the rescuer log hits. she's also pretty darn friendly, unless you do something to upset her (like kidnap her friends...), so it's easy to talk to her. she's honest and down to earth, a good wholesome gal who's not afraid to get her hooves dirty!

Hey there everybody!

I'm Zoki, totally new to the game, and I'm inflicting upon you the alleged warrior of love and beauty, Sailor Venus. Not that she's all that keen to flaunt the whole superheroics thing.

She's here because her dear friend and ally Rei was taken captive, and nothing and no one is going to stop the Sailor Soldiers from saving her. She's also passionately interested in saving everyone! Minako's an aspiring idol singer back home, and part of her is righteously furious that she wasn't chosen instead.

...though mostly she is shocked and horrified that anyone would be so cruel as to use pure musical dreams in such a vile way. She really, really wants to bring the house down! But as much as she can be a bit diva-dramatic, she's actually somewhat of a strategist. She has a compact that allows her easy access to cheap disguises, so that will likely be her main tactic for a while. Gotta gather that intel!

My name's Ax, and I'm already in the game with one Rei Hino (faithfulflame) and I thought to myself that another faithful shrine maiden coming to rescue her dear friend would be rather fitting.

Nozomi is kind of a ball of marshmallow, with approximately zero experience in combat. She's a high school idol from a slice of life canon. But she's actually kind of mean, and rather ferociously loyal to her friends so she's here. But seriously who gave this kid a gun? She's quite clever however, and very good at costuming and dancing and singing so it's possible she might be able to make some disguises for all of you.

HELLO this is Quix and I'm bringing in The Signless from Homestuck for my rescuer. All you need to know about him is that he is basically a really unsubtle parallel to Jesus in his alien planet's history, except that he doesn't have any magic son of god powers and is mostly just a normal guy that got inspired by some weird visions to preach peace and compassion to his warlike species.

He gets killed shortly after his canon point but he doesn't know that...yet.

I already play Steven Universe and Sans the Skeleton besides him, which means that all my characters' names start with S. If that isn't the dopest shit then get out of my face.

Anyway Signless is just a good guy in general, good to children, good to adults, and will date just about anybody. Sometimes he gets really passionate about something and talks a lot but that's okay because he's pretty charismatic. He tries really hard.

Laura is from the same canon as Lucifer. Which is fun because how many people can say they actually know the Devil herself? Laura is a pretty average teenage girl dealing with her own bucketful of issues and the one defining feature of her personality is that she is incredibly driven to help the pop stars of her world because their lives are so crappy.

In short, a bit of a mother hen while also not knowing how to adult. LETS GET TO PLOTTIN. If you want to handwave their meeting having happened on the ship, let's do that and figure out what the feeling is between them. If you want someone to yell at your character to 'not do the thing' let me know! If you need someone to yell 'don't do the thing' at, let me know!

Hi, everyone! This is Lu, the Pinkie Pie player, here with an actual human this time!

This is Frisk! They're from Undertale, and they have come to retrieve their cool skeleton friend. They are a literal ten-year-old child who is very likely to not speak out loud to your character upon first meeting - on that note, WHO HERE MIGHT KNOW SIGN LANGUAGE? It's okay if they don't; Frisk has a phone and also a notepad. They want to be friends with pretty much everybody, so they'll work out their own methods if they need to.

(Brief note: Frisk's gender is intentionally left vague in canon, but I do play them with they/them pronouns. Feel free to have IC confusion, just thought I'd state it OOCly.)

Plotting:

Frisk is probably not going to be getting a job anywhere, being a small child. This will not stop them from striking off to gather intelligence in their own way, by just approaching all of the locals for conversations. They've honed their observational skills a lot, and they're willing to walk in and spy basically anywhere. Just a lost kid, right?

In terms of actual survival, they'll probably just stick to whatever friends they end up making. They're not too picky about where they sleep as long as there's some other people there.

Riza Hawkeye | Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Hi all, I'm Kat bringing in this little sharpshooter who is not very pleased about any of this. Riza's coming in not long past the Promised Day so yeah losing her recently healed CO does not make for a happy Lieutenant. It's her job to keep a certain someone from getting hurt/kidnapped/making an idiot of himself; but then again, she'd be out of a job if that ever happened.

For anyone who only knows the 2003 version and not the Brotherhood or manga set, there are a couple of differences where Riza is concerned. 1) She's less likely to threaten to shoot people (she's still going to shoot those who need it however). And 2) she has a very large alchemical array tattooed on her back that's been partially burned off--it is very unlikely anyone will ever see this as it's kind of a THING.

Planning wise: Riza's had experience doing the whole undercover bit and can fit in pretty much anywhere when she needs to. Don't mind the closed off, uptight attitude as she'll kind of warm up eventually as long as no one tries to get in her way.

Kirby might look like a walking, talking pink marshmellow, but don't be fooled. He's an exerienced adventurer who is perfectly capable of putting the hurt on anyone who messes with him or tries to hurt his friends. He's also, sweet, friendly, easily distracted, overly laid back, stubborn and almost literally has a black hole for a stomach.

He's probably going to end up being more of a hindrance than a help early on if we're perfectly honest here. XD He's not very good at the whole stealth thing and he does kinda stick out, though if you have to he maybe be passed off as a plushie? Anyway, good luck working with him rescuers. >.>;

Hey, folks, I'm brand new to this here game and bringing in the esteemed Samurai Jack.

Jack here is a time-displaced, foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword on a quest to free his world from the tyrannical grip of the evil Aku! He's your classic stoic hero with a heart of gold. A man of few words but plenty of action.

Why's he here? Just because he heard there was evil afoot and we can't have that, can we?

As for plotting... I'm up for anything! Jack has a bit of a lone wolf streak and he's going to be completely lost as far as technology but he works well with others and he's a serious combatant when the chips are down. He could easily pair up with anybody who's better at spying than fighting to be the muscle. Other than that, comrades in arms and friends, kids to look after. I'm good with it all.

Agent 3 | Splatoon

You're a kid now! You're a squid now!

Hey! I'm Avie (Ivan sponsorigami), and I have Agent 3 from Splatoon coming in to help rescue people. (Her real name is Nory, but she's going by her New Squidbeak Splatoon codename because that's what you do.) Her application is here, but I'll give you a quick breakdown. She's a kid, and she's a squid. She's another shapeshifter, but it's just squid or kid. She shoots colorful ink (bright green in her case), and as a squid she can swim in at fast speeds and disappear completely. See her in action. Agent 3 is a pretty upbeat and upfront character... and she's a kid of 14 years of age.

Agent 3 has already saved the day once before in Inkopolis, and she thinks she'll be able to use all her skills here. She's wrong. Her weapon is harmful to ink based beings, which I'm sure none of your characters are. It's not even going to stain clothes because the ink disappears completely after awhile. She'll be better suited for recon in this game, though she's going to try to go to the front lines if no one stops her. ie. Adopt her. Inklings are also deadly weak to water, and she won't have her respawn ability from the start. She's going to to have an inkredible surprise and needing to adjust.

By the way, humans are extinct in her world. But, she's Team Past, so she's glad to travel "back" in time and meet everyone. Now let's dance!

She's ridiculously blunt often to the point of accidentally saying hurtful things, but she's at her...er...heart, very sweet. She's a here to rescue Sora (and the moment she realizes Roxas is here, him too. Because oh man, Roxas.) though she is going to throw her all into rescuing everyone.

She's going to be fairly easy to deal with in the hiding stage of things, but someone might want to convince her to go with something other than the white dress and sandals look.

That's right, I'm bringing in Riku of Kingdom Hearts fame. I also play Kise Ryouta (yellowcopycat) and Oikawa Tooru (worthlesspride)

Riku here, like Sora, is from post Dream Drop Distance, so he's a newly promoted Keyblade Master. He's still learning the ropes, but he doesn't care quite as much as the past masters about people traveling the worlds.

He is, however, upset with people punching holes in realities. Because that leads to Heartless. So while he's majorly pissed that Blanche and Santiago took his best friend, he's also upset that they're potentially setting the worlds up for another Heartless Invasion.

Also, he's going to make sure that no one else can do what Santiago and Blanche are doing, and that includes going against allies if necessary. So keep that in mind anyone who thinks they might want Tera's technology.

Granted maybe there might be a chance for her to think about more than that as she works with her fellow rescuers and getting to know the brainwashed, but don't count on it. I personally think of all the rescuers she will probably have the least trouble getting work in Vista, legal or illegally. Being a crusty hobo isn't her style.

I am total fresh meat, and I play a certain bowl cut savior of the human race, Yu Narukami! He's the best friend of a certain trash lord already in game.

He's coming from post-Dancing All Night, that incredibly embarrassing game that just game out that is all about dancing your feelings. Yes. Really.

Yu's here to save his best friend, but to be honest, he'd have come even if Yosuke weren't here, because he's that kind of guy. He helps people just because he can, because they need help and he's able to help them, so why wouldn't he? He's a truly upstanding young man, a natural leader with a good heart and solid morals and a cool, calm, collected head on his shoulders. He's unfazed by most things, even the weirdest shit you can imagine, though he can be a little judgmental sometimes... and he can be very, very weird, and he has a very, very strange sense of humor. (He ate grass once just because it was there. In his fridge. It was his cousin's science project.)
